Teaching in design context means a blend of facilitation and coaching for me. Facilitation requires you to be a good listener, and sensitive to the students’ point of views. Coaching means sharing of strategic and tactical mindsets and relevant past experience with the students.
My teaching experience started at Carnegie Mellon with interaction and industrial design courses. I am currently teaching courses and facilitating workshops at Stanford d.school and California College of the Arts.
